Dr. Yuan serves as Chief Strategy & Business Officer at Cstone Pharma. He brings over 20 years of experience in oncology global BD&L, strategic marketing, management, and scientific research. Prior to Cstone, he was Executive Director and Global Lead, Oncology BD&L, Merck (MSD) and Executive Director and Global Head of Life Cycle Strategy, Novartis Oncology. Dr. Yuan played a key role in the success of 9 global oncology brands, led world-wide oncology BD at Merck, and successfully achieved 34 deals in immuno-oncology. Dr. Yuan received a Ph.D. from Columbia, an MBA from Cornell, and a BS from Nanjing University.
