Dewan Zeng is the Executive Director, Head of Search and Evaluation, at BeiGene. In her current role, she leads a team of business professionals to identify and evaluate innovative products and technologies to complement BeiGene’s portfolio. She was also the collaboration lead for Amgen BeiGene collaboration, which consists of 3 commercial stage products and 20 clinical and pre-clinical assets. Prior to joining BeiGene, Dewan worked at Pfizer in early oncology development and clinical research division. She was responsible for clinical studies of UCART-19 (a collaboration with Servier), an ADC program and a novel IO program. Prior to Pfizer, Dewan was Director of Clinical Research at Gilead and Director, Translational Research at CVT. In her 22 years of pharmaceutical career, she led multiple global development programs from Ph1 to Ph3 and supported NDA submission and approval of three pharmaceutical products in US, Europe and China. Dewan has BS degree in Biochemistry from Peking University, PhD in Biochemistry from University of Virginia, and MBA in Global Business Strategy from Cal State University East Bay. She completed her post-doctoral training at UCSF. Dewan lives in San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children.
