Sean Zhang, Ph.D. is a Vice President at Lilly Asia Ventures (LAV). Prior to joining LAV, he was a management consultant at McKinsey’s Silicon Valley office, focused on strategic consulting for biotech, pharma, and MedTech companies. Prior to McKinsey, Sean worked in business development and research at Allele biotech in San Diego. Sean completed his Postdoc research at UC San Diego in neuroscience and ophthalmology, and he holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a B.S. in Bioengineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University.
