Doug joined Revelation Partners in 2020. With seventeen years of investment experience, Doug focuses on biopharma, diagnostics, and medical device investments. Over his career Doug has invested over $150 million in venture backed companies. At Revelation, he has recently invested in Aspen Neurosciences, Dren Bio, Endeavor Biomedicines, Hotspot Therapeutics, and Strata Oncology.

Since 2009, Doug has been a Partner and Executive in Residence at InterWest Partners. Prior to joining InterWest, Doug was a vice president at New Leaf Venture Partners where he spent three years focusing on biopharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostics investments. Prior to New Leaf he was a Project Leader with The Boston Consulting Group focusing of Pharmaceutical clients.

Doug received a BA in economics with honors and distinction, and a BS in biology with distinction, from Stanford, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He has an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and an MBA from Wharton, where he graduated with honors as a Siebel Scholar and Palmer Scholar.

Doug lives in Woodside, California with his wife and three children, and he is an Advisory Board member of the Peter Michael Foundation which benefits prostate cancer research.
