Mr. Hu is managing partner of Cathay Health, the healthcare fund affiliate of Cathay Capital, a six billion Euro AUM PE and VC firm based in Paris and operating globally. Cathay Health invests in venture and early growth companies operating at the convergence of technology, life sciences and healthcare.

Prior to Cathay, Hongjie led digital health and medtech investing for Temasek, where he invested in companies such as Guardant and Verb Surgical.

He has a background in electrical engineering and bioengineering from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard.
